Review of Primal Fear (1996) by Patience W — 10 Feb 2009
Everyone that I know seems to love this movie. Honestly, in my opinion, if you take out Edward Norton's performance it's just a mediocre film. Edward Norton's first big-screen performance and he already had the responsibility of saving an otherwise weak movie.
Norton's performance was completely brilliant in this film. He really took this film to the next level, especially in that somewhat disturbing last scene of his. This review probably sounds something like a praise of Edward Norton by now, but his acting is the only reason this movie is getting 3 stars from me.
Gere was outshined.
