Riveting legal thriller and court room drama. Edward Norton, playing his first film role, is jaw-dropping, remind-yourself-to-breathe, good. Primal Fear doesn't ask or answer any huge social or moral questions, but it is excellent within its niche and is a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours.
