Review of Primal Fear (1996) by Scott N — 16 May 2010
The movie Primal Fear strays from the standard conventions of a court-rhoom drama to become something that is much more than simply that. Primal Fear has a series of twists and turns that all fall into place perfectly by the end for the filmâ??s last hoorah. It works is the greatest thing of all. The ending doesnâ??t come off as a cheap plot device unlike Bryan Singerâ??s The Usual Suspects.
A lot of the reasons the plot twist works besides the screenplay is because of how well acted the film is. Edward Norton gives one of the best performances of his career in this film as the alleged killer of a Chicago Archbishop. Richard Gere proves that he can be a great actor as long as heâ??s in the right film.
