Review of Primal Fear (1996) by Jenni V — 17 Mar 2012
Engaging - Gere is very believable but the judge is totally UN-believable in this role. Norton is effective but the plot begins well, fades in the middle, and finishes in an exciting way. The courtroom moves are totally bogus....no courtroom would operate that way in real life.
Entertaining at times but far from "Anatomy of a Murder" or any of the great courtroom dramas.
