Review of Primal Fear (1996) by Gabriel V — 22 May 2012
Although predictable, and a slightly side tracked plot, the performance Norton pulls off here is stellar. I don't want to ruin it for those that have not seen the film, but Norton's ability to flip the switch is done impeccably.
I was sold. Add in a soild performance from Gere as a firey lawyer with image and bravado to protect and enforce, and you got a film that will keep you glued to the end. Even as the predictable plot unfolds.
4 stars.
