Review of Primal Fear (1996) by Luke S — 10 Nov 2012
Another underrated thriller. Richard Gere did a great job as a defense attorney, and Edward Norton shines with an unbelievable performance as the major suspect of a murder involving his archbishop. Everyone does a great job keeping this film together leading up to the chilling (yet flawed) ending.
But the highlight of this film is by far the breakout performance by Edward Norton, and the fact he didn't receive the Oscar for best supporting actor is a MAJOR Oscar rob.
