Review of Primal Fear (1996) by Trent W — 06 Dec 2012
The film is kind of all over the place in its side stories. If its entire focus were on Norton's character, it would be perfect. Subtract the celebrity lawyer and romance element, and add a logical motive for Norton and fill in holes in his backstory, and it's a finished product.
Still, this functions well as a thriller, with Norton's acting obviously carrying the thing.
