It's not next year's Best Picture winner, but the merciless critical panning it received seems a little unjustified. While it's flawed and a bit familiar (the base plot seems remarkably similar to "The Searchers"), and while it has its share of typical, action-fare camp, it looks great, and it has enough elements to stay entertaining.
Generally, I say it's fun - not to be taken seriously, mind you ... but fun.
