Review of Priest (2011) by Zak K — 21 Feb 2012
While Priest tries to emulate the Underworld series as best as it can, it falls short in the storytelling department. Even with the fancy looks, when everything is stripped away, we are not left with much.
The characters are dull and brooding with little to no development, the story is predictable and lacking, and the action, while amusing at some times, does not live up to much. I tried to like this movie and I do, to a certain extent.
It is not good and even if you were bored and wanted to waste your time, it is best just to skip it. By the way, who names their son Priest? 2/5.
