Review of Priest (2011) by Matt F — 10 May 2012
This movie is a complete waste of time!
It's perdictable, there`s not plot at all, just action that copies The Matrix. The vampires in the film don't look like vampires, instead they look like cheep CGI knock ofsf of the zombies like vampires in I am Legend, and the Xenomorphs in Alien. The futurist city is stolen a bit from Blade Runner, and the hero`s sidekick is a carrbon copy of Han Solo from Star Wars. Despite Priest being based on a very popular manga graphic novel series (which I have not read at all), I heard that the movie is not one bit fatful to the graphic novel. Priest is also directed by the same guy who directed Legion, another terrible film, which is pretty much the same as Priest. In other words for Priest, don`t buy it, don`t watch it on Netflix, and don`t even think about seeing it, because all you will be doing is wasting time, money, and your lifetime if you see Priest.
