The genres of classic literature and modern zombie lore combined are much more shocking than zombies alone. 2 or more times I was shocked right out of my seat. The subtle humor of the book comes through in several places in the film.
the zombies are not the sluggish, lumbering fools seen in The Walking Dead. These zombies are intelligent and formidable.
