Review of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) by Corey L — 12 Feb 2016

I was hoping that audience ratings were being overly harsh with only 3 stars given for PPZ but it appears they were pretty much on the money this time. It's a story like Downton Abbey meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

..only it takes place in the late 1700s not early 1900s...and it's Zombies not Vamps as the targets. I guess closer to WAR & PEACE meets the undead. A tad too much girly soap opera drama for my taste.

I must say though, toward the end of the story, my disbelief was suspended about how London was the safe zone in the midst of a huge sea of zombie territory. Horrifying at how fast, smart and relentless the zombies were in this telling.

Almost reminded me of World War Z on that score. You will eventually see this movie but wait for DVD or HBO.
