Review of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) by Mark M — 04 Mar 2016
I have to admit that I never read Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice (1813) because stories about Georgian class and social mores in England during the 18th and early 19th century does not really appeal very much to me.
However, add some zombies and Oriental martial arts/sword play to the equation and I say "yes!" I found Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) to be fun. Lily James makes an engaging lead as Elizabeth Bennett.
Really, what more do you want from a film called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? Mark's Grade: B+.
