Review of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) by Drew R — 05 Mar 2016
I'm disgusted by chick flick movies based on butchering established monster/comic themes. When vampires glisten like a thousand diamonds in the sun, invulnerable to any damage except for werewolf claws (even superman couldn't touch Edward), to Izombie having flowing and living blood while being diagnosed as walking dead (don't forget she had superwoman like powers too, able to get ran over by a 18 wheeler and not a single scratch), and now we have this bullshit. Welcome to a new genre specifically for women. I am thoroughly biased. If you are a person who likes shows/movies targeting the female audience, then you'll love this shit.
Opening scene, dead man pretending to be living; and nobody can tell except for a few flies that can smell his rotting flesh. Wait, when did zombies have a conscience? I think being smart enough to play poker, bluffing as a living being; contradicts the prior action of not being smart enough to not murder your own daughter/nieces. He could have picked any other person to infect/eat. Seriously broken logic.
