I find that it would have been better had the director not deviated so much from the original plot of the movie. I get that the movie might have needed to deviate a little, but I was left thoroughly confused by it, because I really liked the book's development of Mr.

Wickham. It's too bad, because it could have been better than it was. Great cinematography, though, and a good job by Lily James.
