This movie succeeds very well at being both an early 19rh century English love story and a kick-ass zombie movie. Hardcore fans of either genre may balk but the movie works. Sam Riley and Lily James are great as the stars and carry off the love/hate thing really well throughout them movie.
Particularly well done are the action scenes of Women in period garb with killing zombies with some serious swordsmanship. The story line moves well throughout and has a satifying ending. Great popcorn flick.
