Pride and Prejudice and Zombies review. You can't expect much from a movie with a title like that. But you do go into the cinema knowing there are two ways the movie will turn out well. One is that the movie can be really dark and serious with zombies adding an edge to a fabled love story.

OR you could make a high action romp of a modern story using classic literature to tie it all together. I feel that P & P & Z didn't really do either of those options, it just sat a little weakly in between.

It was a movie that didn't really know what it was. I would say that the movie was generally fairly poor if it wasn't for some absolutely great moments of surprise or great characters. They were mostly wasted but I loved those moments.

So all in all I wouldn't recommend the movie as a cinema viewing, you could just wait for a fun night at home in a few months time.
