Review of Pride & Prejudice (2005) by Brittany R — 19 May 2011
I enjoyed this one mostly as much as I do most period pieces. I just love Keira Knightley. I am not familiar with the Jane Austen novel (I haven't read it) but I'm sure this film does it enough justice.
I wasn't enthralled with the romance as much as I thought I'd be, in comparison I found the story in Becoming Jane much more enjoyable to watch depsite the difference in endings. I must admit I had gone into this thinking Colin Firth was Darcy only to realize he wasn't.
