This film is just ok....it cannot hold a candle to the one done in 1995 that was an A&E production....with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. Brilliant 6 part series. Keira Knightly just doesn't cut it as the wonderful Miss Elizabeth Bennett.
and Matthew McFayden is ok as they both are...but it lacks the brilliance and intelligence of A&E's version. Keira Knightly is sooooo thin it takes away from her performance..and she is a good actress but I just can't get beyond her emaciated look.
