Was really disappointed in this film adaptation, the first time I saw it. Took a while but, it grew on me - after a few viewings. This could perhaps be the more historically accurate portrayal of the book, in terms of setting.
The subtle acting of the two main leads, meant thar I found alot of the Bennett/Darcy chemistry lacking on first viewing. Much prefer the BBC TV series, I feel its more accurate in terms of characterisation - but this is still a good film.
