Review of Pride & Prejudice (2005) by Sam F — 24 Feb 2013
This is one of few romance films that I truly enjoy, mainly because it is British. I enjoy the highly eloquent conversations and arguments, which makes the film every more interesting and engaging. It has become a signature for Joe Wright's period romance films, apart from deliciously lavish production set designs, beautiful cinematography, gorgeous makeups and costume designs, and Dario Marianelli's sweeping music.
If only Twilight had a better script, I would have enjoyed it more.
