Lightly entertaining, but mostly a disappointing adaptation if you've seen the BBC version with Colin Firth. The only characters that truly shine here are Lady Catherine, Jane Bennet, and Mrs. Bennet.
Donald Sutherland was wasted here. I'd recommend "Lost in Austen", an ITV production, before this movie - it's not as good as BBC's P&P, but is highly entertaining.
