Review of Pride & Prejudice (2005) by Firebolt P — 20 Mar 2014
Undeniably the best Austen adaptation ever. It's got life brought to screen with stellar performances from the cast, especially the bubbling-with-energy Keira Knightley, haunting music, gorgeous costumes, sets and cinematography and of course- the electrifying chemistry between the leads.
Keira has never looked more beautiful and it seemed like she was playing herself, her Oscar-nominated acting was so natural. It has got the key point of the novel that the yawn-worthy '95 mini-series lacked- life.
