Review of Pride & Prejudice (2005) by Shannon K — 05 May 2015

I loved this movie because of the building up to love. We all have some pride and have been fools and been wrong in love. I relate to Jane Austen's character Elizabeth in so many ways and understand the stoic way of Darcy which is often misunderstood.

Men are different then women in their expression and I like it that way, some things take time and with these two in this movie the tension and build up was something else. All the Bennet sisters and the entire story was superbly done, I have to admit I have watched this on those nights when I want to clear my head of what is going on today and everything else.

P&P has the ability to take you away from what is going on, your troubles or stress for a couple hours and just leaves me always feeling a sense of hope where love is concerned.
