Review of Pride and Prejudice (1940) by Edgar C — 21 Jan 2010
Revisiting always helps. I still maintain some problems with this classy adaptation; Joe Wright was more focused and serious while this film spills humor of stereotypical females all over the place. Even so, it is so delightful at some point that you simply can't stop watching. Disappointed, and at the same time, satisfied.
79/100.
