One of the few movies we have turned off with complete disgust half way through. I don't care how much one wants to argue for artistic license, there are certain lines -- especially in mainstream movies, or with mainstream actors -- that should not be crossed.

and this one crosses a number, and a number in just one heinously violent, misogynist, racist scene. up to that point the only redeeming aspect at all was the presence of Ed Norton; but nothing could save this piece of trash after the one scene in question.
