IThink: It is a good movie. I like cop crime stories almost always. It is well executed though the story in general brings nothing really new to the table. The plot is losing focus due to the character driven drama that enfolds.
.. but the characters are just not strong enough to carry it all the way. But it's not the actors fault. It's the script. As we see in the "making of" on the DVD, they did major rewrites on set.
.. they didn't have an ending of the movie almost untill they actually shot it... check out the "making of". It's cool and we learn that Ed Norton is complicated.
