Review of Pride and Glory (2008) by Satu S — 28 Jun 2009
"the ultimate family-of-Irish-American-New York-cops-in-moral-quandary genre film"..
OH, brother where art thou ? On the wrong and corrupted side of the armed forces, as usual.. Why keep making the same movie over and over again ?! I'm left mystified.
This movie offers basically nothing new and more of the same old same old. The storyline is predictable and stares at you far from a distance like a deer in headlights. The dialogue is as stiff and immovable as the deer, too!
All this movie has going for it are its poster boys Farrell and Norton. However, never before have I meant this to the extreme extent than now as I say - you can't judge a book by its cover !!
