Review of Pride and Glory (2008) by Greg T — 31 Aug 2009

I don't know what it is with me and these cop dramas. Especially the ones with brothers. Watching it the first time, I was on the edge of my seat at the end, and really thought the finale packed a punch.

Ed Norton and Collin Farrell are 2 of my favorite actors so watching them trying to out-badass each other was like Christmas. Noah Emmerich is also very strong, and it's a shame he doesn't get enough credit as an actor.

The story is your usual corrupt cop stuff, but the material is elevated by the actors' performances and some really good directing.
