Review of Pride and Glory (2008) by Ahmed A — 22 Apr 2010

Despite solid and engaging performances from most of the cast, this movie simply suffers from a generic and uninteresting story. What makes matters worse is the directing, which is nothing short of awful, with bad camera placement and hideous shoot locations. It seemed as if the director was going out of his way to be unique using silly uninspired shots like reflections off glass and numerous tight close-ups.

The cinematoghraphy was just as bad giving the whole movie a nauseating, dismal and generally annoying look through a boring blue hue.
