A little better than I thought it would be, but still nothing amazing. IMO it's a bit like Street Kings in that way, but with a gritter feel to it. And a lot less humor. Heavily dramatized, with great performances by both Norton and Farrell.
Gut-wrenching at times, it's a good dirty-cop movie with a hint of 'pride and glory' especially notable at the unexpected, unprecedented ending. If you like dirty-cop/crime movies like Street Kings, be sure to give this one a rental.
