Review of Pride and Glory (2008) by Daniel Q — 24 Jun 2010
A thinking woman's chick-flick. The acting is superb and the cinematography absolutely beautiful. The costumes and set pieces are elegantly done and the story is told a a great pace. The supporting cast was great and the musical score is one of the most beautiful to ever grace the big screen.
Overall, as period films go, they do not get much better then this. If you like romance and well told stories then check this one out.
