It is a very rare occasion when I find myself giving a film a 5 star rating out of 5.
There are only so many films that leave my heart soaring high as the credits start rolling. A very rare number of films have made me shed tears of pure joy, as opposed to tears of sadness which are much more common for me.
It's been a while since i've wanted to promote a film so much to the masses. A film that I feel is important for almost EVERYONE to see.
PRIDE is the very kind of film that applies to everything i've just said. And more! You don't come by a film so magnificent as this very often! Based on true events, this film had heart, soul, it brought me intense laughter, and it hit me in all the right spots. The characters were impeccable and I give major credit to this A+ cast and I only wish it was being marketed more than it is.
This film is a piece of cinematic mastery that I cannot recommend enough! Definitely a top favorite of 2014 thus far and very much worthy of a 5 star rating! Do yourself a favor and see it!
