Review of Pride (2014) by Craig T — 26 Dec 2014
Despite being overstuffed and underdeveloped pretty much across the board, this film succeeds throughout riding a wave of well-cultivated emotion. Once we reach the film's final sequence, we no longer care about the screenplay's underserved characters and patchwork of heady issues - we simply succumb to the rise of pride in our chests.
Good movies make us feel and by that token, this is a good movie.
