This is a pretty poor film, bernie mac should never be allowed on screen again, and preferably have his screen history wiped from the rescords as well. Terrence Howard, who I have seen in many impressive performances, gathered up every cliche in the actors handbook and poured it on thick all over this film, boy did he show raw emotion? (no, in fact).

The true story is inspirational, and again proves how sport can turn lives around, but watch coach carter for how to film these stories.
