Review of Prick Up Your Ears (1987) by Dave W — 14 Jun 2007
Superb performances and a good screenplay, piecing together the lives and deaths of Joe Orton and his lover K Halliwell from the evidence in Orton's diaries.
Enlightening for the depiction of gay life in 1960s Britain and portrayed with lots of humour. If you don't fancy the film read the book, or even better read Orton's diaries.
