A pleasant surprise. It's probably the best Predator movie since the 1987 original (no it not as good as the original but that is almost an impossible ask). It may be on par with Predator 2. This film's strength is its simplicity, the story imitates and pays homage to the original.
The time setting and location is very interesting and makes for some awesome action scenes. It's not a perfect film...It's a slow and rocky start, and some of the CGI on the animals doesn't look great (but its understandable for a streaming budget).
Worth checking out.
