Review of Prevenge (2017) by S1R-R34L — 09 Apr 2017
You have to stay with this psychological thriller, through the first two kills (about 20 minutes)... I so nearly turned off. However, after this point, the acting, story, characterisations, and direction get so much better and the film is actually worth watching, especially if you like dark humour.
This is not a comedy but is much better than most comedies around at the moment. Alice Lowe, who wrote, directed, and starred in the lead role has done a splendid job of showing the bonds of one psychopathic mother as she talks and listens to her psychotic unborn child, in her womb.
