Review of Pretty Persuasion (2005) by Sv G — 02 Feb 2008
Dressing darkness up in pink. Dark and disturbing and wrongfully amusing at times. This is not just another teen movie - it starts out that way and slowly ever so brilliantly takes (lures) us down the dark road it wants us to see.
It's like looking at a car wreck - probably should turn away but there ya are looking. Evan Rachel Wood and James Wood (who plays her father) are both shocking and brilliant in their performance.
