Review of Pretty Persuasion (2005) by Katie L — 01 Jun 2008

This felt like a mash-up of better teen movies than this turned out to be. I get that it is supposed to be a dark comedy, but I've seen better. And why on earth was Selma Blair in this? I get the rest of the casting, but she seemed out of place - anyone could have played her part.

To be honest, I watched this b/c I like Ron Livingston... but his character was weird, much like the rest of the characters in this film. Evan Rachel Wood is a good actress... she can do better than this.
