Brilliant. This movie successfully turns the tables on all of the "mean girl" stereotypes so often found in high school dramas. this movie is like no other. Dark, to say the least, and deeply hilarious.
My only complaint is the ending, I was sort of waiting for something bigger, a revelation, but in retrospect the ending is quite fitting and makes sense given the style of movie and characters. Highly recommended! I don't understand why this movie has so many negative reviews: my guess is people watched it expecting yet another romantic-comedy-esque high school drama, and that's definitely not what they got ;).
