Review of Pretty Persuasion (2005) by Sam I — 28 Jun 2006
If there's a better young actress in the world right now than Evan Rachel Wood I don't know who it is. The 18 year old puts in another excellent performance here. The film is what you'd expect to get if you put Heathers, Mean Girls and The Last Seduction in a blender.
Aside from Wood there's great support from James Woods (hillariously slimy) and Jane Krakowski (sexy and funny as a lesbian reporter for the local news).
