Review of Pretty Persuasion (2005) by Lesley L — 04 Aug 2009
Evan Rachel Wood is unsurprisingly convincing and powerful. The direction of the film is subtle, as Wood's character serves as an unrelieable narrator. The audience isn't sure if they should laugh or be horrified by the characters, begging us to re-examine the validity of our own values and ambitions.
