There are a few bright spots here, but the movie never finds its direction. The mystery behind the lead character played by Crudup, remains a mystery, as does the point of the movie. With more screen time from Wiig,and a salvaged ending, this movie would have been halfway decent.
Instead it ends up unresolved, and unsatisfying.
