Umm, I'm not entirely sure what to make of this if I'm honest. It had it's good points and it had it's bad points.

At times I was really impressed with Sandra Bullocks performance. The majority of the time she portrayed the emotion really well, but then other times, and I don't know whether this is her fault, or whether she was told to play the character like it, she almost seemed like had accepted that her husband could possibly die, and that she couldn't care less that everyday she woke up something had changed. But for most of the film she was very impressive.

The story line was a bit of a roller coaster at times and has the potential to create a lot of suspense, which it did at the beginning, but again, there were times which were quite dull, and there was a small period in the film that felt quite rushed which slightly ruined it. The beginning and the ending are by far the best parts of the film, but the middle lets the rest of the film down. Again, in some ways the ending was good, but then on the other hand it was pretty weird. Some things are left unexplained and there was the whole theme of you fighting for the ones you love, which was contradicted by what happens. There was also an annoying and weak attempt at trying to make the film more scary with continuous unnecessary shots of the moon and trees that supposedly look scary.

This is a pretty average thriller, and it doesn't live up to it's potential.
