Review of Premonition (2007) by Ole J — 01 Jul 2009
Sandra Bullock is an amazing actress, and I like Julian McMahon as an actor as well, but this film I don't think is worth seeing a second time. It was good for most of the movie, there were some inconsistencies with the timeline, but I was into it and the tension was building, but then the end came and I was like "What?! That's it?? This SUCKS so bad!" I think she should have been able to change the outcome of her "premonition," since she and her husband resolved their feelings in their relationship and were going to work to make things better.
I can deal with people dying in movies and stories, but only if it somehow completes the story and there's some type of resolution, like it somehow makes it more meaningful and resolved somehow. I didn't feel that type of resolution with this movie, and it was disappointing.
