Review of Premonition (1998) by Sonya/Buzzo/Olive/Gaza-Slim D — 17 Jul 2009
Maybe a far fetched idea...but a plot line that allows some significant thinking to take place. Will hint at being scary, or haunty like The Shinning or something...but don't cover your eyes, it's all very normal when it plays out (well...except the whole casket at the church thing...).
Kept my attention throughout, and constantly had me thinking about the implications. Would be a great movie to show to my philosophy class. Are dreams real? How do we differentiate dreams from life, and know which is which? What are the impacts of changing the course of the future? Would we if we could? Is there any benefit to knowing the future? You get the idea...
Worthwhile watch, but not if you are in the mood for a lot of action, romance, or veg time. This is a thinking movie.
