Review of Premium Rush (2012) by Teddy V — 13 Feb 2013

I'm not a bike messenger. No self-respecting bike messenger would likely watch this movie. It exploits a bullshit image of their lifestyle to make a lot of money for people who don't understand them, never will, and don't really care to.

But this is still a very entertaining film. I enjoyed it and I'll likely watch it again, because it was better than a lot of other shit Hollywood is turning out these days, and because Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a great actor.

Finally, holy christ is Michael Shannon an ugly fucker, great villain.
