Review of Premium Rush (2012) by Nick E — 10 May 2013

An interesting yet simple film that follows bike messenger Wilee (as in roadrunner) on one of his deliveries, which just so happens to be a package that has the attention of NYPD detective Monday. The film's bike portions, speedily shot on the streets of Manhattan are thrilling and put you on the edge of your seat.

The story, for the most part is quite good, told with the help of flashbacks to get the full understanding of all the characters motivations for behaving and doing what they are doing. Some of the chases drag a bit too long and offer nothing to the plot and the characters aren't particularly interesting, but it's the job and the mission that are interesting here and that's what makes this one a fun watch.
