Time traveling, always leads to movies that will mess with your brain, and confuse the hell out of you at times. The only real joy you get out of a film like that is if at the end all the pieces of the puzzle actually add up. The puzzle here was pretty big, confusing, and at times very very odd. But, it all comes together, and it will leave you wanting more.

Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook who is very unknown in Hollywood star in this time travel mystery. Hats off to Snook, who in my mind gave the best performance hands down. She plays the character perfectly, and will definitely be a big name in Hollywood eventually. She's emotional, she sucks you into her character, makes you feel what she feels, and the role she played couldn't have been easy. As always it's a spoiler free review, so nothing to ruin the film. But just know, that Sarah Snook deserves every amount of credit and then some for this performance. Hawke is great as always, nothing to take away from his performance, but this was the Sarah Snook show.

The plot, which starts with a bang and then recedes back for a bit, but it's needed. It sets up everything perfectly and will have you wanting more and guessing what the ending is going to be like. Who is who, where are they, how are they doing what they're doing to justify what's happening in this film. Those questions will all be answered, and it might take a while to see it, but once you do, you just might be mind blown.

Overall, one of the better science fiction, time traveling films I've seen in some time. One I will be adding to my collection, because I feel like the more I watch this film, the more I'll pick up as I watch it again and try to solve the mystery before they do. It's fun, it's not eye popping by any means, and not a lot of action. But the dialogue and story make up for it. Do yourself a favor and watch this film, and mentally prepare yourself. 4/5 JD.
